History of Sodic Real Estate Company

Sodic is known as the Sixth of October Development and Investment Company, which was founded in 1996. It began its honorable history by acquiring a plot of land in Sheikh Zayed City with an area of 10 million square meters with the aim of developing the West Cairo area. In 1997, it became a joint-stock company with approximately 6,000 shareholders. The company included many companies and shareholders with different percentages, the most important of which are the following:

  • Saudi Olayan Company, with 13.84%.
  • RA Holding Company Limited, with 9.16%.
  • In addition to Remco AGT, with a share of 7.30%.
  • Equity Real Estate Company, with 5.07%.
  • And Norges Bank by with 3.84%.
  • And Al Majid Investments by 3.08%.
  • In addition to 2.45% for Ismail Omar Al-Shteiwi Gharghar Company.
  • And 2.39% from Financial Group Hermes.
  • 2.12% Financial Holding International Limited.
  • 1.84% for the company’s Board of Directors member, Walid Suleiman Abdel Mohsen Abanmi.
  • And 1.82% of the share of Yazid Suleiman Abdul Mohsen Abdullah Abanmi.
  • And Muhammad Suleiman Abdul Mohsen Abanmi, with 1.74%.
